In 2012 he completed undergraduate school at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, followed by graduate school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNT Health Science Center) in Fort Worth, and medical school in 2018 at Kansas City University (KCU) School of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri.
In 2021 Dr. Corrales finished his Residency at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Family Medicine (Ascension Macomb- Oakland Hospital Oakland Primary Care) in Detroit, Michigan.
His areas of expertise include Family Medicine, Preventive Care Medicine, and Chronic Disease Management.
Dr. Corrales obtained his Board Certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOA).

Alejandro Mora, MD, is a skilled and passionate Physician at Core Primary Care. Dr. Mora provides individualized care to all patients from two offices in Sugar Land and Houston, Texas.
He grew up in Sugar Land before attending Rice University in Houston for undergraduate studies in Kinesiology and attaining his MD at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) in Galveston. He then moved to the University of Colorado in Denver, where he attended a residency in Internal Medicine with an emphasis in Primary Care.
Dr. Mora has felt firsthand the lack of personalization in health care and hates how confusing, frustrating, and demoralizing our health system can be. He believes that his patients can reduce or eliminate the need for costly prescription medications with proper education, guidance, and support.
He firmly believes that most of our modern diseases will disappear with proper nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management.
Dr. Mora’s patients know that with the combination of adequately implemented lifestyle habits and strategically chosen aesthetic treatments, they will look and feel great regardless of age.
During his free time, he enjoys cooking with his wife, hanging out with friends, and tailgating for Rice University football games.
Aimee Hariramani, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant at Core Primary Care. The practice has two offices, and Aimee provides high-quality care to all patients at the Sugar Land, Texas, office.
Aimee was born and raised just outside of Detroit, Michigan. She studied sociology and comparative religion in college and graduate school and spent nearly ten years working in non-profit organizations and schools.
Ten years later, Aimee decided the time was right to enter the field of medicine. She graduated from Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in Houston, Texas, as a PA in 2015. Since then, she has worked in primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, and pediatrics.
Aimee is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care to all her patients. She especially loves working in primary care, which allows her to build long-lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
She has two children, ages 9 and 11 years, and a rescue dog Buddy, who keeps her busy outside of work. In her free time, she loves to travel.
Spain has become a favorite destination of late, which has allowed Aimee to build fluency in Spanish and develop a love of vegetarian Spanish cuisine.
Her interests include enjoying time with her kiddos and rescue dog Buddy, vegetarian cooking, travel, reading fiction, and spending time at the beach.
Avery Schwartz, RD, PA-C, is a devoted Physician Assistant at Core Primary Care. The practice has two offices and Avery provides personalized care to all patients from the Houston, Texas, office.
Avery is a native of Austin, Texas. Growing up, she enjoyed hanging out at health food stores and experimenting in the kitchen. What began as a hobby developed into a lifelong passion for health, wellness, and medical aesthetics.
In 2015, Avery completed a master of science in nutrition and a dietetic internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). While working as a registered dietitian (RD), she specialized in clinical nutrition and chronic diseases like obesity, diabetes, and kidney disease.
Her experience working with patients as a dietitian and her desire to bridge the gap between lifestyle changes and medical interventions inspired her to become a physician assistant (PA).
Leveraging her nutritional expertise with medical training, she provides comprehensive patient care that improves long-term health outcomes.
She is also an expert in giving whole body advice, which will benefit your skin, so she can get the best holistic results for anyone she treats for medical aesthetic treatments.

In 2015 Carolina graduated Cum Laude Honors with a Bachelor’s in Biological Science at The University of Texas at Brownsville.
A University Scholar, Carolina was granted a full scholarship and was an active volunteer member throughout all four years. She also was awarded the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, a scholarship dedicated to first-generation college students and graduates.
In 2019, Carolina achieved a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. Carolina is the first person in her family to graduate college with a Master’s Degree, something she is very proud of.
She completed her thesis comparing surgical valvular replacement versus transcutaneous aortic valve replacement and developed a passionate desire to serve underserved communities in primary care.
Carolina gained health care experience in primary, specialty, and inpatient care throughout Rio Grande Valley, where the patient population is underserved.
She is passionate about caring for socioeconomically disadvantaged Mexican Americans with a disproportionately high prevalence of noncommunicable diseases like Hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and chronic kidney disease.
Erliz Maldonado, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Core Primary Care. Erliz provides personalized care to all patients from two offices in Sugar Land and Houston, Texas.
Erliz is a proud Texas native. She began her nursing career 11 years ago as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She earned her Licensed Vocational Nursing certificate at Wharton County Jr. College in 2010.
In 2014 her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Prairie View A&M University College of Nursing at Houston, and she completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston-Cizik School of Nursing (Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston).
Erliz has cared for many patients through various nursing positions throughout her nursing career and has worked at Ben Taub General Hospital and Houston Methodist Hospital.
After flourishing in her career, she decided to increase her medical knowledge by furthering her education to help her patients achieve their best quality of life.
She is fluent in Spanish and English and passionate about helping our patients prevent and care for chronic and acute illnesses.
In her free time, Erliz enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, fiancé, family, friends, and her two lovely dogs, Lola (Goldendoodle) and Toby (German Shepherd). She also loves traveling, especially in sunny areas next to a beach, and enjoys eating different kinds of sushi.

In 2019 Kjersti graduated with magna cum laude honors, completing an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
In 2021 Kjersti completed graduate school at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in Houston, Texas, obtaining her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.
Kjersti received her board certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Aside from research and education, Kjersti also enjoys volunteering with Medical Mission Intern, Global Medical Training, where she assisted in forming medical clinics in the Dominican Republic with direct patient care. She also performs Service Work in the Dominican Republic.

Emily is a native Texan. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin, a public research university in Austin, Texas, and also the flagship institution of the University of Texas System (UT System).
Emily then went on to attend The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), a public, academic health science center in Galveston, Texas, where she obtained a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
She is passionate about preventive medicine and lifestyle medicine and strongly believes in treating the person as a whole.
When Emily isn’t busy caring for patients, she also enjoys cooking and baking dishes from all around the world and exercising. She also loves spending time with her family and friends.

He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Tennessee, followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in Physician Assistant Studies at Lake Erie College, located in Painesville, Ohio.
Ajoey graduated with an MSPAS degree from an accredited ARC-PA program. Highly motivated and enthusiastic about working as a team, he enjoys coordinating with and learning from colleagues and supervising physicians, nurses, and other essential personnel in providing high quality and holistic care to each patient.

Mimi Chandrabose, PA-C, is essential to the Core Primary Care team, bringing over 13 years of adult medicine experience to support the needs of patients. Mimi earned a bachelor’s in science, biology, and biomedical science from Houston Baptist University. Sheila started her nursing journey with an associate degree from Houston Community College. She gained essential hands-on experience as a youth care worker helping adolescent populations with mental health and maintaining prescribed routines, such as physical therapy and medications.
Sheila earned a bachelor’s in nursing from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. During this time, Sheila continued to hone her nursing skills and worked as a registered and clinical nurse for various Houston hospital systems, such as the Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital.
Returning to higher education, Shiela received a master’s degree from Chamberlain University in Cypress, Texas, to become a family nurse practitioner.
